Up for grabs is a Patek Philippe Aquanaut
Reference 5060 A
This was the first Aquanaut reference ever made and only 1000 examples were produced. This is an automatic watch in steel, with 35.5mm case, solid metal caseback, Caliber 330 movement.
The PP Extract of Archives confirms and dates this watch to December of 1997 production.
Excellent vintage condition case and bezel.
Dial is superb with vivid orange patina on plots. Damage-free. Hands are tritium with lighter shade of patina, this is correct and usually they do not “match” the dial.
Caseback is in excellent condition, stamped 5060 inside with case serial number.
The original black rubber strap with folding buckle are in excellent condition. I am also including an unworn PP brown rubber strap for this watch if you want to preserve the original black one.
Watch has not been serviced nor do I know service history on it. The original crown is a bit stiff as expected, but kept original. Watch winds and runs.
