Up for grabs is a Rolex Explorer II “Orange Hand”
1655 reference
3.7 mil serial number circa 1973 production
Watch has just undergone a major overhaul at ABC Watchwerks in August. It is still under their service warranty for almost 2 years.
Excellent vintage condition with no dings or dents. Thick and even lugs and crown guards. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible.
Dial is original MK2 in excellent condition. No chips, no scratches, no spotting, no tritium chipping, no corrosion. Hands are original, tritium. All matching creamy patina. Original silver date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.
Original MK2 bezel is in excellent condition.
Caseback is original, stamped 1655
Bracelet is a Rolex 78360 with 12 links total, 580 ends, I date code on clasp. Bracelet shows signs of wear with light stretch as seen in pics.
No box or papers. Watch will come with original invoice from ABC for almost $1600 from overhaul as well as original movement parts and crystal which were replaced during this service.
