Up for grabs is a Rolex Date
reference 1530, automatic, 36mm watch with similar casing to OysterQuartz models. Seldon seen and only made for about a year.
4.1 mil serial number circa 1974
Excellent vintage condition with no major dings or dents. Shows signs of wear and has been polished in past. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible on case.
Original deep dish dial has aged and faded to a cream color with tropical aging around some of the plots. All luminous plots are intact, do not glow. Date disk is correct and original with open 6’s and 9’s.
Caseback is original, stamped 1530
The bracelet is original, with 12 links total and in tight condition.
No box or papers. No documented service history. The watch currently runs within +5 seconds per day with good amplitude.
