Up for grabs is an Omega Flightmaster in steel

145.036 reference

355848XX serial number circa 1976 production and purchase as shown on papers

This watch has been found at a recent estate sale from its original owner. The watch was found by a dealer friend of mine and sold to me immediately, but it was never before offered for sale to public.

Super vintage condition case. Case has clearly never been polished. No dings, dents, or any notable scratches. The watch has probably never been worn. If you microscope it, you can see what I would call showcase wear from being in and out of AD showcase or possibly worn few times. These are very small hairline scratches here and there. No kinds of corrosion, oxydation on pushers, etc.

All pushers are original and have all the color they should.

Dial is superb. All of the tritium is fully intact, very nice patina on hands. No cracking. Dial has aged to a gorgeous and even brown color.

Upon inspection with a loupe, crystal has a few what appear to be chips, very small, pinhole size. I believe this is also from being handled at store, in/out of box.

Caseback is in superb condition. I have never owned or seen on this condition. Factory finish and no scratches. The watch has been opened VERY carefully by previous dealer, to verify the matching of papers, and carefully closed. It is stamped 145.036 inside and there are no service marks inside. The case/caseback gasket appeared original.

Bracelet is Omega 1162/172 in crisp condition, no scratches, no polishing, the clasp is free pf any deep scratches.

This watch comes with an Omega Flightmaster box and original and matching warranty booklet.

The watch runs, winds smoothly, and chrono runs and resets.  Suprisingly, the watch keep excellent time and amplitude.
