Up for grabs is a Rolex OysterQuartz DateJust
17000 reference
5.5 mil serial number circa 1978
Excellent condition case with original bevels on case and bracelet. No corrosion or pitting. Appears to have original finish. The serial and reference numbers are intact and visible.
Excellent condition early “non-COSC” OysterQuartz blue dial. Dial has aged to a purple hue over the years. Please note the lume dots have been relumed, but not sloppy as usual. Dial is original, not refinished. Date disk is correct with open 6’s and 9’s.
Bracelet is tight, fully linked and crisp coronet on clasp.
Watch runs as should.
No box or papers. No documented service history.
