Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner Date

5.70 mil serial number circa 1978 production
Excellent vintage condition case with very thick and even lugs. Original bevels are clearly evident. Serial and reference numbers are clearly visible and fully intact. Crown guards are thick and even.
Dial is in excellent and 99% flawless condition. Very attractive cream color patina. No chips, scratches, spotting, or uneven aging. Original silver date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.
Bezel is in excellent condition, insert is a nice faded out serif. The pearl was probably replaced in past as it still glows, but the insert is period correct and believed to be original.
Bracelet is a Rolex 93150 in very good vintage condition, 580 ends, 11 links, Patented correct extension, VC date code on clasp, matching the watch’s age.
Caseback is in excellent vintage condition. No engravings and sharp lock teeth. Inside is stamped 1680. No corrosion or pitting.
No box or papers. No documented service history, but the watch runs within COSC with good amplitude.
