Up for grabs is a Rolex Date in solid 14kt yellow gold
1500 reference 34mm size, automatic.
5.9 mil serial number circa 1979 production
Excellent vintage condition case with thick and even lugs and defined edges. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible.
Dial is a matte dark gray or faded black with gilt text. Possible refinish. Does not glow in dark. Hands are original, no glow. Date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.
Caseback is in excellent vintage condition. Stamped 1500 and 14kt inside
Bracelet is original 14kt yellow gold Swiss rivet with 57 end-links. Fully linked with 13 links. Clasp is stamped with E date code which is age appropriate to the watch. Some stretch from use as seen in pics.
No box or papers. No documented service history.
