up for grabs is a Rolex Sea-Dweller
6.7 mil serial number circa 1980 production. Given the information known and print date of manuals, this watch was sold in 1981 by an AD in WA state.
Excellent vintage condition case with thick and even lugs and crown guards. Very clean and corrosion free case. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact. The case has been polished during service, but those bevels appear original still.
This watch originally came from its first owner out of Washington State. No diving or military history behind it, but the guy worked for Boeing, got the watch new and sold it recently in an effort to raise some money for personal bills.
The dial is original MK4 with nice creamy patina. Very clean dial with no chips, scratches, corrosion, tool marks or other damage. Hands are original, tritium. In pictures they appear noticeably darker in patina, but in person they are only a few shades darker and look attractive. Correct and original date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.
Bracelet is a Rolex 93150 with 11 links and 593 ends. N clasp code, shows stretch and wear from use as seen pics.
Caseback is correct and original. Stamped 1665 inside.
Watch comes with its original boxes, manuals, matching hang tags. Serial number hang tag matches the watch, of course. The original warranty papers were never found. The outer box still has AD’s name and address on it.
No documented service history.
