Up for grabs is a Rolex GMT-Master in steel
16750 reference with quick-set date and acrylic crystal.
7.3 mil serial number circa 1982 production with matte dial.
Good vintage condition watch. Lugs show signs of polishing and wear on the inside from bracelet. No corrosion or pitting. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible.
Dial is the star of this whole watch. Very nice matte dial, damage free, eggshell patina. Hands appear original to the watch, but show oxidation and dark color. They do not glow in dark. Original date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.
Insert shows aging and wear, but appears original.
Bracelet is a Rolex 78360 with 580 ends, 11 links, F date code. The bracelet shows signs of moderate/heavy use with stretch as seen in pics.
Caseback is original, stamped 16750 inside.
This was a regularly worn piece with signs of heavy wear. I fully realize this and this is the reason why the price is $4750 and not $7000 like most 16750’s with matte dials sell for nowadays.
No box or papers. No documented service history. The watch winds and runs smoothly. Timing is within -10 second per day with 290+ amplitude.
