Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner Date
168000 triple zero reference transitional model made for short period of time
R serial circa 1987 production
Excellent vintage condition. Shows signs of wear, but very strong lugs with original bevels clearly evident. No major dings or dents. Very thick and even crown guards. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and visible.
Dial is original, tritium and has developed a creamy patina. Hands are tritium and do not glow in dark. Date disk is correct and original, white with open 6’s and 9’s.
Bezel insert appears original with tritium pearl matching to the dial.
Bracelet is a Rolex 93150 with 11 links, diver’s extension, 593 ends, and light stretch from use as shown in pictures.
No box or papers. No documented service history.
