Up for grabs is a Rolex Explorer 2
16550 reference
R serial number circa 1987 production
Excellent vintage condition case appears to be close to or unpolished with original bevels on lugs and finish. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact.
Dial is original tritium with nice creamy patina on plots and hands. The lacquer finish has spidered very fine giving it a shattered glass effect. This is only visible under an angle or in the sun. Watch has correct date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.
Bracelet is a Rolex 78360 with 12 links total, light stretch from use and 501B
No box or papers, no documented service history. Watch currently winds and runs well, keeps COSC acceptable time with good amplitude.
