Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner Date
16800 reference with original matte dial
7.1 mil serial number circa 1981
Excellent condition fat case with thick, even and beveled lugs. Thick and even crown guards. No corrosion or pitting. Both the serial and reference numbers are intact and clearly visible.
Dial is excellent original tritium matte with creamy patina and tritium original hands. No spotting, chipping, scratching or uneven aging. Hands do not have typical corrosion. Correct date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.
Bracelet is a Rolex 93150 in excellent condition with 11 links, diver’s extension, 593 ends, and S MA11 date stamp, which would indicate a service replacement in 2005. Very minimal stretch from use.
No box or papers. No documented service history.
