Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner Date
1680 reference
5.8 mil serial number circa 1978
Excellent condition, thick case is ding, dent, or major scratch free. Both serial and reference numbers are crisp and intact. Original bevels are still evident on lugs.
Dial is excellent original tritium with awesome creamy color patina and matching tritium hands. No chipping, scratching, spotting or else. Correct silver date disk with open 6’s and 9’s. Bezel insert is service with luminova pearl.
Caseback is stamped 1680
Bracelet is excellent Rolex 93150 with 580 ends and correct VD date stamp. Comes on 12 links and PATENTED diver’s extension. Shows very little stretch and crisp coronet on clasp.
No box or papers. No documented service history. Currently runs well with good amplitude.
