SOLD 1974 Rolex COMEX Submariner 5514 w/ HH Letter

Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner No-Date

5514 reference, COMEX issued, with valve’d case

Medium number watch numbered in 400’s

4.1 mil serial number circa 1974 production. Watch has been supplied to COMEX by Rolex in 1977 as per H. Hudson letter which comes with the watch. 

Excellent vintage condition case with no major dings, dents, or deep scratches. No corrosion or pitting. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and visible. 

Dial is in excellent condition with creamy patina and tritium hands. All correct and original COMEX dial. No scratching, spotting, drag marks, or missing luminous material. 

Very nice faded insert has aged to a bluish hue

Caseback is all-correct and original with ROLEX/COMEX/4XX stamped outside and correctly stamped 5513 with serial number matching to the case on inside.

Watch comes on excellent condition Rolex 93150 bracelet with very little stretch and 580 ends. 

This watch comes with supporting HH letter and its original envelope when came from Rolex. What you see is a scan of this letter and envelope, but the actual, original physical copy will be supplied with the watch.
