SOLD 1972 Rolex Submariner 5512 Serif 4-Line Dial w/ Cream Patina

Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner No-Date

5512 reference with 4-line SCOC dial

3.4 mil serial number circa 1972 production

Excellent vintage condition case with no major dings or dents. Thick and even lugs and crown guards. No corrosion or pitting. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible. 

Dial is flawless, period correct serif 4-line dial with beautiful creamy patina on plots and tritium hands. No chips, scratches, drag marks, or else. 

Bezel insert is in excellent vintage condition, serif font

Bracelet is original, Rolex 9315 folded link with 12 links total, 380 ends, misspelled PATETED period correct extension, no date stamp on clasp, which is also period correct. 

Caseback is original, stamped 5513 and I.72, Corrosion free, appears to have original circular finish on outside. 

No corrosion between case and caseback. 

No box or papers. No documented service history, but according to markings on inside of caseback, it appears it has been service in September 2015.
