Up for grabs is a Rolex Day-Date in 18kt yellow gold
1803 reference
5.X serial number circa late 70’s
Very good vintage condition without any major dings or dents. The serial and reference numbers were mostly worn down by bracelet. You can make out “1803” under a loupe and the middle of the digits is worn down as seen in pics. The serial number side you can make out “5” as first digit, then its either 3 or 5 or 7, then 8, 0, 9, or 6 and followed by clear 403 and another what appears to be 3 at the end. The price clearly reflects this condition.
Caseback is original with a few dents on outside. Stamped 18kt and 1803 inside.
Dial is excellent pie-pan “Wide Boy” with correct wide hands. Dial is damage free. Original date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.
No box or papers. No documented service history.
Watch comes on unworn brown vintage leather strap with steel generic buckle.
