Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner Date

2.4 mil serial number circa 1970
Excellent vintage condition with no dings or dents. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and very crisp. Nice crown guards and original twin-lock crown. Lugs have been polished before with bevels still evident.
Dial is very good MK4 red with dark patina and matching tritium hands. Please note the chip on edge dial between 10 and 11 as typical for MK4 dials. Please note luminous material partially chipped on hour hand near base. Please note some corrosion/damage on bezel insert near 40 and between 12 and 1 oclock.
Caseback is excellent stamped 1680 and I.70
Comes on black leather strap with steel Rolex buckle.
No box or papers. No documented service history. Winds and runs smooth and well.
