SOLD 1970 Omega Speedmaster 145.022-69 Pre-Moon Tropical Brown Dial

Up for grabs is an Omega Speedmaster Professional

145.022-69 reference cal. 861

291166XX serial number circa 1970 production with pre-moon caseback. 

Very good vintage condition case with minor signs of wear. No corrosion or pitting. Has been previously polished.

Dial is in excellent vintage condition, step, tritium. The dial has a nice dark chocolate brown aging to it which is clearly evident in direct sunlight as well as in shade. The brown shades of dial are more intense around the edges of subdials as well as step of the dial. 

The pictures were taken during the day, outside, in natural light with overcast skies. No artificial lighting or camera flash used.

Crystal is original Omega hesalite with logo in center. Light surface scratches as expected.

Bezel is genuine Omega one, but newer replacement

Caseback stamped 145.022-69 inside. Hippocampus engraving is very clear. 

Watch comes brown vintage leather strap with steel buckle. 

Watch winds smoothly, runs, chrono runs and resets back to zero as should. Service history is not known. Timegrapher showing +12 seconds per day. 

No box or other accessories.
