Up for grabs is an Omega Speedmaster Professional
145.022 reference pre-moon with caliber 861 movement
296385XX serial circa 1969 production
Excellent vintage condition case with sharp and fully defined lugs and edges. No corrosion or pitting. No major dings or dents.
Dial is fantastic and extremely attractive tropical brown with very apparent color. You can clearly see even in shade it is brown in the pictures. Nice yellow patina on plots. Correct step-dial. These pictures we taken under natural daylight, overcast. No artificial lighting or flash. I also attached an iPhone picture of this watch in direct sunlight. Please note there is a chip at 11 minute mark of the dial.
Bezel is a very attractive and faded to very apparent brown color.
Caseback is service replacement with very clear Hippocampus engraving and stamped 145.0012 inside.
Watch comes on Omega 1171 bracelet.
Crystal is original hesalite with Omega logo.
No box or papers. No other accessories. Chrono runs and resets as should. Watch winds smoothly and runs within -10 seconds per day with ~290 amplitude.
