Up for grabs is a Tudor Submariner
7016/0 reference
621,XXX serial number circa 1968 and what one would call transitional dial and case. The dial still carries Rose logo with silver print and gilt minute track while the case is short lived semi-pointed-crown-guard (SPCG).
Case is in excellent vintage condition with very thick and even lugs and original bevels clearly intact. Original twin-lock Rolex crown. Very defined and thick SPCG’s. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible.
Dial is in fantastic vintage condition with great yellow patina on dial and hands. Hands are tritium, not relumed/matched. Dial is free of any chipping, scratches, bubbling, or corrosion.
Caseback is in excellent condition. Inside is correctly stamped 7528 and I.68
The crystal appears original, high dome.
This watch was found on Rolex USA oval jubilee link bracelet and is offered as found.
No box or papers. No documented service history. The watch runs very well and requires no immediate attention.
