Up for grabs is a Rolex GMT-Master
1675 reference
1.42 mil serial number circa 1966
Excellent vintage condition case with no dings or dents. Strong lugs and crown guards. Case has been polished by ABC before the sale. Serial and reference numbers are clearly visible and fully intact. No corrosion or pitting.
Dial is a seldom seen and recently discussed so-called MK0 matte dial believed to be the true transitional dial between gilt and MK1 Long E dial. This dial is also accompanied by correct mini-GMT hand. Dial is in good condition with minor signs of wear (please note aging on minute track between 9 and 10 plot). The tritium is original, of correct texture, puffiness and aging. Still glows after being exposed to bright light as should be from this time period. Dial is not relumed.
Watch comes on a Rolex 62510H Jubilee bracelet, GMT-Master correct with “50” stamp. Excellent condition, light stretch, plenty of links, 550 ends.
No box or papers. No documented service history.
