Up for grabs is an exceptional vintage Heuer Autavia in steel
1163 reference, extremely rare and attractive “Orange Boy” variant
Superb vintage condition watch is unpolished, damage and scratch free, and appears to be unworn.
Original damage free signed crown and pushers.
Dial is perfect. The watch has probably never been opened. Perfect stain and damage free subdials. Very vivid and bright orange colors. All plots are fully intact and have aged to a nice orange patina.
The bezel is original, in flawless condition. No uneven aging, no scratches, no dings, no polish.
Bracelet is original Gay Freres Heuer. It appears to be fully linked. The bracelet doesn’t even feel like its been “broken” in yet. The clasp is damage free and unpolished with very crisp Heuer logo. Inside is dated ’71 and end-links are original and correct HLF.
Caseback is in superb condition. No tool marks or scratches. Original caseback sticker is in very nice condition and damage free, which reinforced the idea that it was never worn, as there is no peeling or damage on edges of sticker, only color fade from age.
This watch comes with Heuer red racing cube box, warranty booklet, sleeve, and heuer envelope where you would send a part of the warranty booklet for registration. The booklet was never filled in and since the envelope remains, obviously never sent out.
