Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner No-Date
5512 reference
5.8 mil serial number circa 1978 production
Excellent vintage condition case without corrosion, pitting, major dings or dents. Thick and even lugs.
Dial is original and period correct Maxi MK3 with very attractive cream patina on plots and hands. There is chipping in lume at 6 and 9 o’clock plots. Hands are original and tritium.
Bezel insert is period correct, faded to a bluish hue, damaged at triangle as seen in pics.
Caseback is original, stamped 5513 which is fine and correct.
Watch comes on unworn vintage leather strap with steel buckle.
No box or papers. No documented service history. Watch runs at COSC specs currently.
