5.7 mil serial number circa 1978 production
Excellent vintage condition case without dings or dents. Thick and even lugs lugs with original chamfers still showing clearly. Serial and reference numebrs are fully intact and clearly visible.
Dial is original, flawless radial or “mini” with very attractive yellow patina on plots. No scratches, chips, drag marks or else. Hands are original, tritium with matching patina to the dial and original and period correct all-red GMT hand. Date disk is original with open 6’s and 9’s.
Bezel is all-blue “blueberry” in excellent condition. It is original, all correct with “hole” on inside of the bezel confirmed.
Bracelet is a Rolex 78360 fully linked in excellent condition.
Watch comes with Rolex boxes, warranty papers dated in 1980 and a customers declaration receipt dated a few days after the warranty papers was. The papers are stamped with “Bucherer” as AD, hand filled serial number and date. These are not as “good” as punched papers surely, but appear original with ink aging in form of aging and discoloration. Also, if you compare the date handwriting to the serial number, they are done by same person. The customs declaration papers and VAT paid also indicates the article was a Rolex 1675.
