1973 Omega Speedmaster 145.022 Moonwatch, Step Dial

Up for grabs is an Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch

145.022-71 reference

328449XX serial number circa about 1973 production. The caseback is correctly stamped -71 as the next series of caseback doesn’t come out until -74 stamps. 

Excellent vintage condition case with no corrosion or pitting or major dings/dents. Sharp and clearly defined lugs and edges, possibly unpolished. No corrosion or pitting. 

Dial is original, step, in excellent vintage condition. Nice patina on the dial and hands appear original and tritium. Flawless dial without any damage or marks.  

Bezel is in excellent vintage condition without any major signs of aging/wear.

Crystal is original, hesalite Omega with logo in center. There is a scratch on crystal around 6 oclock, but otherwise clean. 

Watch runs and winds smoothly. Chrono runs, stops, and resets back to zero as should. No documented service history. No box or papers.

Bracelet is Omega 1175 with 47 ends. Fits a large wrist. Period correct date stamp.
