Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner Date in steel
1680 reference
3.1 mil serial number circa 1971 production
Excellent vintage condition case with even lugs and crown guards. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible.
Dial is original, MK5 variation of red Subs in excellent condition with cream patina on plots and hands. No relume, no refinish. Date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.
bezel insert is fat font in excellent condition.
Caseback is original, stamped III.71
Bracelet is a Rolex 9315 with 12 links, 380 ends, “pateted” stamped extension, no date stamp which puts it at 1974-1975, which should be period correct.
