Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner Date

3.2 mil serial number circa 1971 production
Excellent vintage condition case with sharp and defined lugs and crown guards. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible.
Dial is original, MK5 Red with nice cream patina on plots and hands. There is a chip on edge by 1 o’clock of the dial which is only noticeable in close-up macro pictures, but also the watch is priced accordingly. Original date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.
Caseback is original, stamped 1680 and III.71 inside.
Bracelet is a Rolex 9315 folded link with 380 ends, 11 links, PATETED misspelled and correct diver’s extension, B date code.
No box or papers. No documented service history. The watch winds smoothly and runs.
