1971 Rolex DateJust ref. 1603 “Wide Boy” Collector’s Set Box & Papers

Up for grabs is a Rolex DateJust

Reference 1603 with steel bezel

2.8 mil serial number circa 1971 production, with purchase date in 1972

Excellent vintage condition watch has been obviously work and used but retains thick lugs. Clear numbers between the lugs.

Excellent and damage free “wide boy” dial and hands with orange patina.

Caseback is original, stamped 1603 and dated in 1971

USA oval link Jubilee bracelet as expected to have. Buckle is engraved with original owners names and matches the papers.

Watch comes very complete with Rolex boxes, manual, matching hang tags, COSC paper and guarantee booklet are both punched with serial numbers. Also has a receipt from a service in 1988.
