Up for grabs is an Omega Flightmaster
Reference 145.026. This is a transitional Flightmaster which has the slimmer case of ref. 145.013 but updated movement cal. 911 as seen in 145.036.
Excellent vintage condition case has been professionally refinished by LA Watchworks to get back to close to factory specs and remove all scratches from when the watch was found. A new crystal was also put on the watch. Gaskets were also replaced and watch ultrasonically cleaned. No service or other interventions.
The dial is original, has a very nice pale brown “mocha” color from aging. Hands are original with nice patina.
Caseback is original, still has the DC-8 plane engraved and Flightmaster though it shows signs of wear. Caseback is stamped 145.026 inside.
Bracelet is the original and correct Omega 1162 with 172 end-links. It fits about a 7.5” wrist.
The pushers and crowns are all original. Inner bezel functions as should. The GMT hand moves fine. The chronograph engages, runs, stops, and resets. The hour totalizer does not reset directly to zero. No service history is known on this piece.
