This watch was owned and worn United States Air Force Major General William W. Wisman. This is confirmed by original Rolex warranty papers filled out with his name and also the personalized engraving on the caseback of the watch. Excellent vintage condition case with even lugs, clearly visible numbers.
Dial is original, silver with door stop 6 and 9 markers. Nice patina on plots and hands. Date disk was service replaced in past, has closed 6’s and 9’s.
Caseback is original, stamped I.69 inside
The bracelet is an oval link Jubilee with “50” stamped end-links. The clasp appears to have been replaced with a generic one in past.
Watch comes with its original beveled box, caseback sticker, COSC papers with punched serial number, Rolex card holder, original punched papers, and translation booklet.
The watch has just been serviced by matchmaker and runs fine.
