Up for grabs is a Tudor Submariner
7016/0 reference
623,XXX serial number circa 1968 and what one would call transitional dial and case. The dial still carries Rose logo with silver print and gilt minute track while the case is short lived semi-pointed-crown-guard (SPCG).
Case is in excellent vintage condition with thick and even lugs. Original twin-lock Rolex crown. Very defined and thick SPCG’s. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible.
Dial is in fantastic vintage condition with great yellow patina on dial and hands. Hands are tritium, not relumed/matched. Dial is free of any chipping, scratches, bubbling, or corrosion.
Caseback is in excellent condition. Inside is correctly stamped 7528 and I.68
Bracelet is a Rolex USA C&I rivet in excellent and tight condition; 12 links, ’78 date on clasp.
No box or papers. No documented service history. The watch runs very well and requires no immediate attention.
