Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner in steel
5513 reference no-date
1.98 mil serial number circa 1968 production
Very good vintage condition case has been polished but retains thick and defined lugs and crown guards. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible.
Dial is original, matte Meters First. All luminous material has been removed from the dial, but no refinish and no relume. Hands are original and tritium.
Bezel insert has aged to a gray/blue ghost hue. Take a note the bezel “pearl” has been replaced.
Caseback is newer stamped 5512
The watch winds and runs. Comes on unworn vintage leather strap with generic steel buckle.
No box or papers. No documented service history.
