Up for grabs is a Rolex DateJust in 14kt yellow gold
1601 reference, 36mm, automatic
2.1 mil serial number circa 1968 production
Very good vintage condition case has previously been polished, no major dings or dents. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and very clearly visible.
Dial is in flawless condition, matte black sigma, pie-pan with all tritium plots intact. Hands are original and tritium Date disk is original with open 6’s and 9’s.
Caseback is original, stamped 1601 with 14kt hallmarks inside.
Watch comes on unworn vintage leather strap with gold plated generic buckle.
No box or papers. Watch winds smoothly and runs at COSC currently. Service history is not known nor documented.
