Up for grabs is an Omega Chronograph in 18kt yellow gold

OT 2872-9 reference with manual wind caliber 320 movement

162091XX serial number circa around 1958 production

This is a seldom seen reference with 2 chrono registers and flat pushers case, 35mm watch excluding the crown.

Case is in excellent vintage condition. Given its age and being made out of gold, it has kept very nice and sharp lugs and case. Omega signed winding crown.

Caseback is snap-on type, original, stamped 18kt and OT 2872 9

Dial is original with Tachymetre scale, off white with plenty of patina and signs of aging. The watch these flat pushers were design didn’t much prevent small particles, including moisture from coming in. This dial has attractive aged look and is original. Appears to be non-luminous from the factory, with no radium on plots and also solid hands with no luminous. Hands are Alpha style with leaf subdials hands and all appear original.

The movement is a caliber 320 manual wind. The watch runs, winds, and chronograph engages, runs, and resets back to zero.

Watch comes on a vintage leather strap with steel buckle.

No box or papers. No documented service history.
