Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner No-Crown-Guard
6536/1 reference in steel
155,xxx serial number circa 1956 production
Very good vintage condition case with about even lugs. The serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible.
Dial is a tritium service replacement with silver print and chapter ring. Nice patina on plots. There is a small darker area by post of hands, perhaps a lubricant drag from past service. It is hard to notice it in person but is showed and disclosed. Hands are also tritium.
Bezel is original, brass with nicely faded “ghost” gray insert.
Caseback is original, stamped 6536/1 inside and II.56
Bracelet is a Rolex USA C&I rivet with ’62 code, 11 links, and tight condition. It is possible that it has been restored in past because of how tight it is.
No box or papers. No documented service history.
