Up for grabs is a Rolex Speedking

reference 6057 with manual wind movement, 32mm case, machined bezel

865,XXX serial number circa 1952 production

Excellent vintage condition watch. Thick lugs, clear numbers between the lugs. Original Brevet crown. No corrosion.

The caseback is engraved with C.D. McGehee, his service number and USMC. The service number is understood as he was an enlisted soldier who joined the US Marines between 1936 and 1941.

The dial is original and damage free. Flawless condition with no scratches, chips, lume loss, etc. All radium plots and hands. We can observe two obvious radium burns from hands, indicating that this watch has sat around somewhere for a long time without movement.

Watch comes on unworn generic strap. Winds and runs, but no service history.
