Up for grabs is a Rolex Oyster “Army”
3139 reference in steel, about a 31mm watch
214,XXX serial number circa 1942 production
Superb vintage condition with very sharp and defined case appears to have never been polished. Original brushed finish on sides. Original “patent oyster” screw down crown.
Dial is original with arabic numerals and gilt minute track and text. Blued pencil hands are radium and matching to the dial in patina. Dial still remain glossy.
Caseback is very sharp, stamped with serial number and a personalized engraving. Inside is stamped 3139.
The watch winds and runs.
