Up for grabs is an Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch
Reference BA 145.022 in solid 18kt yellow gold
291176XX serial number with production date in April of 1970 according to Omega Extract of Archives. This watch has been delivered to Spain.
This model is an Apollo XI tribute to astronauts launched in 1969. Only 1,104 watches were made and this was the first solid gold moonwatch, as well as the first numbered edition for Speedmaster.
Excellent vintage condition case is very sharp and appears to still have factory finishes. There is patina on the gold from lack of polish or wear.
Dial is original, in excellent condition with factory original hands. There is a scratch on crystal, but dial is damage-free.
Bezel is amazing DON burgundy. Condition is excellent without peeling as often seen on these.
Caseback is excellent. This watch is numbered “773”. Stamped 145.022 69 inside.
Bracelet is solid gold Omega with brushed finish. Fits a large wrist.
There are no boxes or papers, but the watch does come with an Omega Extract of Archives confirming originality of movement to the case and delivery date.
