1979 Rolex DateJust ref. 16030 “Rhodium Dial, IBM Award Watch”

Up for grabs is a Rolex DateJust

Reference 16030 with 36mm case, quickset date, acrylic crystal, steel bezel

5.7 serial number circa 1979 production and based on engraving on back was awarded in 1980.

Excellent vintage condition case with sharp, thick, and even lugs. Clear numbers.

Dial is a very attractive rhodium which has developed a brown hue to it from age and patina. All plots are intact with nice yellowing patina on hands and lume dots. Original date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.

Original Rolex USA Jubilee bracelet in excellent condition. All links are included, currently sized to about 7.5″ wrist.

Caseback is engraved with IBM logo, date, and name of recipient.

Watch comes with some accessories as found. Rolex box, manual, matching hang tag with serial number, COSC hang tag, and links. No warranty papers or any other accessories not seen in pictures.
