1995 Rolex Explorer 1 ref. 14270 “Tritium Dial, Box & Papers”

Up for grabs is a Rolex Explorer 1

Reference 14270 with 36mm case

W8 serial number circa 1995 production with warranty papers dated in 1996 at time of purchase as new.

Excellent vintage condition case with thick, even lugs and clear numbers. Has been polished in past.

Dial is excellent and original with attractive light cream patina on plots and hands. No relume, no refinish.

Bracelet is a Rolex 78360 with correct 558B end-links. Someone has swapped the clasp with a flip-lock clasp from 93150 bracelet. Fairly common occurrence if the owner found the non-locking 78360 clasp to be not reliable.

Watch comes complete with Rolex boxes, manuals, COSC hang tag, and warranty papers from US AD.
