1967 Omega Speedmaster ref. 105.003 “Ed White, Extract, Service Records”

Up for grabs is an Omega Speedmaster Straight Lug Pre-Moon

Reference 105.003-65

24,952,0XX serial number circa 1967 production. Late serial number for this reference correctly falls in for -65 range.

Case is in good vintage condition and still shows evidence of its original chamfers, but I do think its been polished before. No pitting or corrosion.

Dial is original, with original lume and hands. Under the loupe and in macro pictures you can see some spotting/aging. No scratches or dents.

Bezel is a period correct DON with faded look and signs of wear.

Crystal is original Omega hesalite with logo in center.

Caseback is original, with visible Hippocampus and stamped 105.003-65 inside.

Watch winds smoothly, runs. Chrono runs and resets. The watch has been serviced in 2015 by previous owner by Swiss Time Services in UK which is an authorized Omega repair center.

The watch also comes with Omega Extract of Archives which confirms the serial number of the watch to 105.003 case and shows delivery to Taiwan when it was new.

Watch comes on gently used leather strap.
