1962 Rolex Day-Date ref. 1803 Yellow Gold on Strap

Up for grabs is a Rolex Day-Date in 18kt yellow gold

854,XXX serial number circa 1962 production

Very good vintage condition case shows signs of wear and polishing. Clear numbers between the lugs. There is a ding on 9 o’clock side of the case.

Dial is tritium with all lume dots fully intact. Tritium hands. Spanish Day disk.

Caseback is original, stamped 1803 inside with original Rolex hallmarks. The outside of the caseback has a few dents as well, probably from previous attempt to open it without a proper tool. The caseback threads are fine and it closes and opens as should.

Watch comes on unworn leather strap with generic steel buckle.

No box or papers.
