Up for grabs is an incredible vintage Audemars Piguet
Reference 4266 in 18kt yellow gold with an octagon shaped case, a signature for AP.
This watch measures at about 33mm from side to side, excluding the winding crown.
It is B series watch and production date should be somewhere in the late 1970’s.
The movement is AP’s iconic automatic 21C
Fantastic condition and believe to have never been polished case with some patina on the gold from being stored away. The hallmark on side of the case is very sharp and legible.
The alligator leather AP strap is in NOS condition and shows no signs of wear.
The original AP buckle is signed and stamped with 18kt hallmarks.
Evidently, this watch was made for the Japanese market containing the manual in Japanese and AP signed as well as the warranty paper stamped with Japanese AD name and dated in Japanese Calendar format.
This watch comes complete with inner and outer AP boxes, manual, wallet, guarantee, certificate of origin with all matching numbers to the watch. Though I have seen this watch sold many years ago, I have never seen on with box or papers or offered for sale in recent history publicly.
