2012 Rolex DateJust ref. 116234 “Blue Concentric Arabic Dial”

Up for grabs is a Rolex DateJust in steel

Reference 116234 with 36mm case, white gold fluted bezel

D serial number. So this watch’s production was most likely in 2005 or so. But this was during the good ‘ol days when this dial wouldn’t sell even at discount and when AD’s would have these watches for years in stock before they actually sold. Such is the case here. It even was given updated warranty card instead of a paper warranty since it was sitting around. Eventually, someone bought this watch from the AD new in 2012 as dated on the card. Of course since they didn’t sell many of these, this dial now has become very rare to see and is only usually seen on white gold DateJust models on leather strap.

The watch is in excellent condition and appears unpolished with thick lugs. Crisp bezel.

Original blue concentric dial with Arabic numerals and roulette date disk with alternation red and black numbers.

Original Super Jubilee is tight with full links and MA date code.

Watch comes complete with its original boxes, manuals, and warranty card. The country code on the card is Japan and matches the Japanese manuals.
