1990’s Omega Seamaster 300m James Bond ref. 2531.80 “Nice Patina, Blue Wave”

Up for grabs is an Omega Seamster 300m “James Bond”

Reference 2531.80.00 with 41mm case, automatic movement, tritium dial

601454XX serial number circa late 1990’s production.

This model is so-called “Bond Seamaster”and gained its popularity during the Pierce Brosnan era of James Bond movies as he wore it in the movies. Daniel Craig also wore this model in “Casino Royale” James Bond movie. Even though the actual watch they were was the quartz version, but that’s a technicality.

Excellent vintage condition watch without any major dings or dents or deep scratches. Serial number is fully intact and legible under the lug.

The dial is original with tritium which has developed very nice patina.

The bezel insert is original, slightly faded with a few scratches from use and wear.

The bracelet is original 1503/825 in tight condition and fits about a 7.25 wrist.

No box or papers. No service history. The watch winds smoothly and runs at about -6 seconds per day with mid 200’s amplitude.
