UP for grabs is a Rolex Daytona in steel
Reference 6263 with screw down pushers and acrylic bezel.
3.2 mil serial number watch circa 1972 production
This is a very special watch double signed Tiffany & Co. The reason I stress “very” is not only because of Tiffany stamp, but where it is located. It is unusual to see the stamp on the lower half of the dial, right above the lower subdial. Only a handful have ever been seen like this. Since its a Sigma dial, these dials did not have “DAYTONA” stamped on them, so it makes sense that Tiffany decided to put the stamp on lower side, even though there are other Sigma dials where the stamp is still placed on upper half.
To further reinforce the Tiffany & Co. originality, one of the lugs has the correct and expected hand inscribed Tiffany stock number.
The case of the watch is very well preserved with sharp lugs and legible numbers.
Original pushers and winding crown.
The dial is well preserved with most of the lume dots still intact. The Tiffany stamp is crisp and damage-free. Hands are original, tritium.
The bezel is original without cracks or delamination.
Bracelet is also original 7836 with correct 71 end-links and date stamp.
No box or papers.
