1980 Rolex DateJust ref. 16013 White “Buckley” Roman Numeral Dial

Up for grabs is a Rolex DateJust

Reference 16013 in steel and gold with quickset date. Acrylic crystal, 36mm case.

6.5 mil serial number circa 1980 production

Excellent vintage condition case with even lugs and legible numbers.

Dial is original matte white with painted Roman numerals, sometimes referred to as “Buckley” dial. Nice orange patina on plots and hands.

Original date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.

Caseback has an engraving on it.

Bracelet is original Rolex 62523 with 455 ends, moderate stretch from use, D date code.

No box or papers. No service history. It runs at +2 seconds with about 280 amplitude.
