1995 Tudor Submariner Date ref. 79190 “Full Size, Matte Dial, Sapphire Crystal”

Up for grabs is a Tudor Submariner Date

Reference 79190 which was at the end of production for Tudor branded Submariners. This model has similar characteristics to Rolex 16800 model in that it is a 40mm watch with matte, tritium dial and sapphire crystal. This reference also wears a bit slimmer than its older brother 79090, which has an acrylic crystal.

B632,XXX serial number circa 1995 production with warranty papers dated in 1996 at time of purchase new.

Excellent vintage condition case with thick lugs and fully legible numbers. Previously polished. Original Rolex winding crown.

Dial is original with nice cream patina on plots and hands. No damage, no relume, no refinish.

Bezel insert is original with correct fat font insert.

Caseback is original.

Bracelet is a Tudor 9315 with 11 links, diver’s extension, 380B ends, T date code on clasp.

This watch comes with its original warranty paper and hang tag with serial number. No box or other accessories. Service history is not know. The watch winds and runs at about +3 seconds with ~280 amplitude.
