Reference 1655 so-called “Steve McQueen” or Orange Hand

8.09 serial number circa 1984 production

Excellent vintage condition case watch with seemingly unpolished case with factory chamfers and sharp edges. Fully legible numbers between the lugs. Even and thick crown guards.

Dial is MK5, the last generation, in perfect condition without any marks, discoloration, etc. Perfect hands. No relume, no refinish.

Original date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.

Original and correct MK4 bezel is in unpolished state with chamfer clearly there.

Original Rolex 78360 bracelet with 580 ends, correct I date code, 11 links, tight condition for its age.

No box or papers. The movement was inspected and confirmed the dial has never been out of the case, never serviced. New gaskets were installed, but nothing else was touched.
