Up for grabs is a Rolex Submainer Date

2.8 mil serial number circa 1970 production

Very good vintage condition case with even lugs and crown guards. Previously polished. Fully legible numbers.

Dial is original, Red Submariner script MK4 with vivid orange, or so-called “pumpkin” patina. The hands have been relumed in past to match the dial. Dial is original, no relume or refinish.

Previous owner swapped the cyclops crystal for a domed out.

Period correct bezel insert with faded charcoal gray hue.

The caseback has been replaced at some point. During this time it should be still be dated ’70, this one is just stamped 1680.

The watch comes on a leather strap.
